In the previous 14 years the catalog was distributed through EFA Medien, which went defunct in 2004, taking Force Inc. and other labels with it in its fall. Other distributers of Force Inc. in this years were DMD, PIAS (NL) and SRD (UK).
Since 2006 the Force Inc. label family (Force Inc., Mille Plateaux and Force Tracks) is again run by Achim Szepanski's Disco Inc. Ltd. and distributed by Intergroove/Rough Trade/Discomania.

I took a day trip to forced exposure record distribution in Malden MA a few weeks ago. Around 10AM I finally found the place nestled in across the street from National Grid and Comcast's headquarters. I am excited to get to tour it later next month.

Forget Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person In The World” contest — it’s now been completely upstaged by a new Sunday contest on Fox: Sean Hannity’s “Enemy of the State” award. Last night, Hannity’s new Sunday night program aired for the first time, and from here on he’ll award his “Enemy of the State” prize — a term originating with ancient Roman dictators placing bounties on rivals — on whatever red-state abortionist, anti-war activist, or run-of-the-mill Democrat who has attracted Hannity’s ire that week.

I spent a good many days in the chase for brook trout on the streams, rivers, and lakes in and around somerset county in central Maine. Josh Lachance, Mr Paul, Chris Kaldro, Isaac Keen, and many other of my early compadres shared a love of the hunt for those vermilculous demons. Mostly we caught suckers, brown trout, or lake trout but the rare find of a "brookie" was cause for celebration.

The brook trout is native to small streams, creeks, lakes, and spring ponds. Some brook trout are anadromous. Though commonly considered a trout, the brook trout is actually a char, along with lake trout, bull trout, dolly varden and the arctic char. It is native to a wide area of eastern North America, including most of Canada from the Hudson Bay basin east, the Great LakesSaint Lawrence system, and the Mississippi River drainage in the United States as far south as northern Georgia.

Description:

-Write up provided by Bob Mallard of Kennebec River Outfitters" type="hidden"> Above the upper dam in Madison, the river runs through a rural and semi-remote wooded area with limited shoreside development, braided channels, and abundant wildlife including Eagles, Ducks, Beaver, Otter, Deer and the occasional Moose. As in Madison, the river in Solon is far enough away from Route 201 to be out of hearing range of the log trucks! With Browns, Rainbows, Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon, and 5+ miles of driftable water, this section is arguably the finest “Float” fishery in all of New England!Although walk-in access is somewhat limited, there is a good stretch of easily waded water located off the Route 201A bridge (especially at the Evergreen Campground!) In addition, although wading can be tricky (but not dangerous), there is public access at Carratunk Falls. The hatches in the section although possibly not as strong and diverse as those downriver, are reliable, and along with the abundant forage fish, helgramites, etc., are sufficient to support large numbers of t...more

stuck in 2007

People tend to neglect giving themselves the same advice that they give to others.

GUILTY as charged I am.

Im officially stuck.
behavior can be so hard to change.

I know it is insane to do the same things over and over and expect different outcomes.

why do i then?

other peoples problems seem to be a touchstone of my life. I guess I invite it. I can see why others don't try to take on others issues. It's not easy. Real friendship is taxing. Let's all just talk about tea and crumpets shall we?

I think this earth will be crushed by the problems of humans.
