I have been the common ground fair but never been to any of the mofga events such as this. After looking at the schedule I'm intrigued! It looks like a great chance to get some basics for a number of important self reliance topics. Maggie had it bookmarked and it is definitely right up her alley, if I weren't going to Mutek in montreal I would go. Yesterday I spent most of the day with MLS yard sale-ing, then to skillins garden center. Then spent 5 hours adventuring round portland on my in line skates. ran into the red bull truck and they even gave me free red bull... then i tweaked on caffeine for a full 2-3 hours... ykes.
